Your buyer builds a shortlist quietly, from your website, before anyone on your team hears about it.
What loses the instruction early:
See how your firm looks to a general counsel building a shortlist.
An identity that signals discretion and judgement, not surveillance drama.
Built for general counsel, compliance heads and claims managers vetting you quietly.
Rank for due diligence, background checks and corporate investigation terms.
Capability statements and report formats that survive internal circulation.
Leadership-led content that builds authority without exposing a single matter.
Service and methodology content your compliance team can approve.
We learn your practice areas, buyer roles, jurisdictions and how instructions arrive today.
We map what can be published, what cannot, and the structure that proves capability safely.
We design the identity and write service, method and credentials content for your review.
We build a fast, secure, search-ready site with a discreet enquiry route.
We launch, then support the firm with ongoing content and visibility work.
Let us review what a corporate buyer finds when they research your firm quietly. Everything you share stays confidential.
The buyer for serious investigation work is rarely a consumer. It is a general counsel, a compliance head, a claims manager, an insurer, a law firm partner or a procurement team at a corporate group. They shortlist two or three firms before any conversation happens, and they do it from your website.
What they are checking is specific: does this firm handle my type of matter, are they licensed and insured, who are the people and what were they before this, how do they handle evidence and chain of custody, will the report stand up if it is produced in proceedings, and can they operate in the jurisdictions I need.
Most investigation websites answer almost none of that. Services are listed as single words, there is no indication of methodology, the team is anonymous, and the imagery suggests either a guarding company or a film set. A firm with twenty years of genuine capability can read as less credible than a two-year-old competitor who simply explained itself properly.
The second problem is positioning. A single site trying to serve matrimonial enquiries, pre-employment screening and cross-border asset tracing at the same time confuses every one of those buyers. Corporate clients in particular move on quickly when they see consumer surveillance work presented alongside corporate investigation services.
The brief is unusual: build credibility without evidence, and authority without publicity. These are the pieces that do it.
Deciding which work you want more of, and separating corporate practice from consumer work so each buyer sees a firm built for them. For most firms this single decision changes the quality of enquiries more than anything else.
A restrained, professional identity for report covers, engagement letters, proposals and credentials documents. Investigation buyers read visual drama as amateurism. Your brand should look closer to a law firm than to a security company.
Individual pages for corporate investigation, due diligence investigations, background check services, insurance claim investigation, IP rights and brand protection investigation, process serving, international investigations and risk consultancy, each explaining the scope, the method, the typical timeline and what the deliverable looks like.
Licensing, insurance, association memberships, examiner and forensic certifications, data handling and privacy practice, evidence protocols and report standards. This is what replaces case studies, and almost nobody in the sector presents it properly.
Capability statements, report templates, proposal formats and empanelment documents designed so they survive being circulated to legal, procurement and finance without you in the room.
A typical engagement for an investigation or risk firm, and how long each part takes once your team has approved the content.
Practice positioning, identity or refresh, colour and typography, stationery and report covers. Four to eight weeks.
Service pages per investigation type, methodology, credentials, team profiles and a secure enquiry route. Four to seven weeks once content is approved.
Capability statement, proposal and report templates, empanelment documents. Three to five weeks.
Technical setup, keyword mapping across investigation types and jurisdictions, local and international targeting. Setup in three to four weeks, results over three to six months.
This is the one industry where our background is unusually direct. Before PIXELS TRAIL went full time, our founder spent over a decade as a core member of GREVESGROUP, a corporate investigation and brand protection firm, and we remain their digital partner across their network of sites today.
That means we have written the material from inside the constraint rather than guessing at it: service content for investigation and brand protection practices, capability documents for corporate buyers, and website structures built around what compliance and legal teams actually check. We know why a matter cannot be described, what can be said instead, and where the line sits.
It also means we are comfortable with how this sector works commercially. NDAs before the first detailed conversation, clients who cannot be named publicly, work that is never used as marketing material for us, and content that is approved by your team before anything is published. Nothing about your matters, clients or methods becomes a case study on our website.
We do not promise rankings for terms your buyers do not use, and we will tell you when a piece of content creates more exposure than value. In a sector where discretion is the product, restraint is part of the service.
We work with investigation agencies, due diligence practices, background verification companies and risk consultancies across India and internationally. These pages explain how we work in each market:
Through method rather than outcome. Describe the type of matter, the sectors served, the process followed, the evidence and reporting standards applied, the jurisdictions covered and the qualifications of the people involved. Anonymous and specific is far more persuasive to a corporate buyer than vague and impressive.
Usually not, or at least not with equal prominence. Corporate buyers evaluating a provider for due diligence or fraud work often disengage when matrimonial or personal surveillance services appear alongside. Many firms run separate brands or clearly separated practice areas.
That is your judgement to make, and it varies by firm and by role. Many successful practices publish leadership credentials while keeping field personnel anonymous, which satisfies buyers who want to know whose judgement they are buying without exposing operational staff.
Corporate instructions often begin with a search even when the final decision is relationship-led, because someone is asked to find three providers. Background verification, process serving and claims investigation in particular see genuine search demand from businesses rather than consumers.
Yes, routinely. We work under NDAs across this sector, we do not publish client work from it without written permission, and your matters, methods and documents are never used as marketing material for us.
We draft and structure it; your legal or compliance team approves it before publication, and we build that review step into the schedule. We avoid claims about outcomes, success rates or capabilities that could create exposure in a regulated or litigious context.
In the Indian market, positioning with an identity system, report covers and core documents typically falls between INR 1,00,000 and 3,50,000, with the website quoted separately based on the number of investigation services and jurisdictions covered. International firms are quoted in USD or AED at equivalent scope. These are market ranges rather than quotes.
Yes. We work with investigation and risk firms in the UAE, UK, US and Singapore remotely, with working hours that overlap comfortably with Gulf and European schedules and a workable overlap with North America.
Send us your website and capability document. We will tell you what a general counsel or compliance head cannot find, and what to fix first. Everything you share stays confidential.
